Buhari Asks Nigerian To Trust Him, Promised Never To Disappoint Them
President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Nigerians to have faith in him as he reassures that his government would not be a disappointment to them.
The president made this call today during the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally which was held in Dutse as part of the scheduled activities of his two-day working visit to Jigawa.
President Buhari expresses his concern on the hardship being experienced by the citizens as he noted that he is not ignorant of it and that his government is doing its best to ensure that siles are returned to the faces of the citizens.
The President revealed that his administration has put a ban on the importation of rice so as to encourage local production and empower farmers.
He appraised the people of Jigawa state for the heartwarming reception he received upon his arrival in the state and promised that things would change for better soonest.
Also speaking at the occasion was Muhammad Badaru, the executive governor of Jigawa State.
Badaru recalled that the president took over power at a tie when the state of the country’s economy was in a mess as he also noted that the administration is trying its best to return the country’s lost glory.
The governor further told his people that his administration would not relent in ensuring a positive and great standard of living for citizens in the state.
Quoting him: “Recently, we introduced social security allowances of between N50,000 to N100,000 in all political wards to cater for immediate problems of people before approaching the government for intervention.”

Parts of his task during the visit would be to commission some completed projects by the government of the state.
