A total of twenty eight persons have been reportedly killed following the outbreak of Cholera in Kano State.
This information as gathered by NIGERIA NEWS was revealed by the state’s Commissioner for Health Ibrahim Getso on Tuesday.
Speaking on the matter, Getso revealed that the disease has affected about 33 local governments in the state since it broke out at the beginning of this year.
He further disclosed to reporters that the State Government is trying its best to fight the endemic disease as it has approved N32 million for the prevention and control of the disease.
He also urged residents in the state to ensure that they engage in good hygiene and endeavour to consume healthy food.
He emphasised that the health of Nigerians should not be left solely in the hand of the government.
