N-Power Sets Up New Campaign
The Federal Government empowerment scheme, N-Power have launched a campaign to enable the 2016 beneficiaries to mentor people in their communities even as they wind up their contract.
NIGERIA NEWS recalls that the N-power scheme which was launched in 2015 had its first beneficiaries in 2016 meaning that the contract for the first set of beneficiaries will soon elapse.
N-Power is a scheme that was set up by the Buhari administration to address unemployment issues wherein the beneficiary is employed for 2-Years with a monthly stipend of 30,000.
The scheme explained the new campaign to the general public via a statement which reads, “Dear 2016 Beneficiaries,
Thank you for all you do at your places of work and your communities. Many of you have provided outstanding services as teachers, Health and Agric extension workers. We are thankful.
It is why we are pleased to introduce the #ReachBackPullUp campaign.
It is basically a call to have you mentor people in your communities.
