1. Osinbajo departs Nigeria
The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has departed Nigeria for Kigali, Rwanda.
The Vice President is to join other world leaders and top dignitaries to participate as a Special Guest in the ceremonies marking 25th National Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi holding today in Kigali.
This was disclosed in a statement by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity in the Vice President’s office.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday met with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan.

3. Zamfara killings: Air Force hits hard on killer bandits
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says the Air Task Force (ATF) for Operation DIRAN MIKIYA has successfully destroyed a bandits’ logistics base at Ajia in Birnin Magaji Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja.
He said the ATF also neutralised dozens of the bandits at Ajia and Wonaka in Birnin Magaji Local Government Area of the state.
4. Reps threaten to arrest Madonna University VC
The House of Representatives has threatened to forcefully make the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Madonna University, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Edeh, comply with its summon and appear before its committee on Public Petitions, if he failed to honour its invitation on or before April 9, 2019.
Others expected to appear with the VC include officials of the institution namely: Rev. Fr. Francis Nwachukwu, Rev. Fr. Francis Nginga and Mr Ogbonna Okey.
