Osinbajo Gives Nigerians Assurance Over APC Crisis

Prof Osinbajo noted that it is normal for there to be tension within the party, with some people asking for certain preferences, but he assured that the issues would be worked out as he believes members of the party are all working towards the party as strong as ever. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has given Nigerians assurance of resolution over the crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC)

In the face of the many crises rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the Vice President of the country and a party stakeholder of the party, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has given his assurance to Nigerians that a resolution would be worked out soon.

Prof Osinbajo noted that it is normal for there to be tension within the party, with some people asking for certain preferences, but he assured that the issues would be worked out as he believes members of the party are all working towards the party as strong as ever.

These were disclosed by the Vice President at the inauguration of President Maada Bio of Sierra Leone on Saturday and publicised by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande.

As gathered by NIGERIA NEWS, the VP said: “In politics, as you know, there will always be tension, but the party is strong and the leadership and membership of the party are committed to ensuring it remains strong and continues to offer hope to the people. I think a lot of the issues will be resolved as we go along.

“This is the normal order of things; there will be disagreements, there will be those who may feel that they need certain preferences or certain things which may not have been done earlier on. I don’t think there is any major problem.”
