A Special assistant to the Nigerian President, Lauretta Onochie stated on Social Media that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the just recently concluded elections, Atiku Abubakar should be overjoyed that he isn’t rotting away in jail.
The Presidential aide claims that a photo of Atiku was seen by her and it had some strange inscriptions written on it, even though she never mentioned or described what the inscriptions were like. She further stated that Atiku should caution himself to avoid being charged for mutiny and told him to face his court case against Buhari, rather than being up to no good at all.
She wrote on Twitter on Tuesday: “I just returned to Abuja and saw Atiku’s photos with some weird inscriptions.
“For one who is lucky to be walking free, whatever he is planning, he shouldn’t forget that we have a President in place.
“Nigerians will insist that treason be treated as treason. He should counsel himself.
“When you lose an election, you either congratulate the victor or you challenge the election results in court.
“After foot-dragging, Atiku has now managed to go to court. It’s in the best interest of the nation that he continues in that legal path instead of stirring mischief.”
