The national leader was filmed in Lagos saying that the two bullion cars that entered his compound do not concern Nigerians and that he is not doing any government business since past 5 years and that he can use his money anyhow he wants.
For two bullion cars to enter a national leader compound of an eve of the election, and no question is being asked by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC Omokri is asking the question if there are two laws for Nigerians now? The one for opposition parties and the one for the ruling party.
Buhari has promised to work harder in his second term in office and fighting corruption is one of his top priorities
Omokri said the anti-graft agency should investigate Tinubu over the alleged report of bullion vans seen at his Lagos residence, on the eve to the presidential election.
The former presidential aide made the call while commending the EFCC for releasing the lawyer of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The former Lagos State Governor was accused of distributing money from bullion van at his residence before the presidential election.
Reacting, Tinubu while speaking during an interactive session with newsmen after he voted at his Unit 047, Ward 3, in Ikeja, said he was neither a government contractor nor a worker with any government parastatal.
However, Omokri, in a tweet on Wednesday night wrote: “BREAKING NEWS: @officialEFCC just released @Atiku’s lawyer.
“I commend them and urge Ibrahim Magu and the EFCC to remember that they are a law enforcement body, not an @OfficialAPCNg enforcement body. I eagerly await their investigation of @AsiwajuTinubu’s election bullion vans.”
